Some of the People I've Helped
and their success stories:
Joy Haggerty
Small Business Owner
I have known Dr. Edgar for several years now, and during that time I’ve come to appreciate his genuine love for people, his authentic honesty, and his desire to see people reach their full potential. He strives to bring people into a healthy realization of who they are as well as who they were meant to be in God’s plan for their lives. As a leader himself Dr. Edgar creates a place of safety for his clients, in a confidential and engaging environment.
Dr. Kurt Takamine
Higher Education Leader
Leadership can be a lonely place. Conflict in human relations is inevitable, yet it is often amplified in ministry as unrealized expectations hinder all involved in resolving that conflict. Scott has a direct and compassionate perspective that afforded me an opportunity to search my heart to find resolution and strength in the greatest conflict – the one in my own heart. His coaching is Gospel-Centered and Grace-Focused.
John Barlow, Ed.D.
Educational Executive
Scott’s questions gave me the opportunity to dig even deeper into my thoughts about what I am doing. When a particular concept came up, we spent time brainstorming, which I found extremely helpful and gave me ideas to try some new things to effect change in my life. Sometimes I have wondered if brainstorming together is really coaching, yet doing this reminds me that an advantage of coaching is having someone to be a sounding board who will have back and forth conversations with me about what I am trying to accomplish. Executives don’t always get this luxury and having a coach to brainstorm with would offer great value!
Mike Armstrong
Executive
As a client, Scott is calm and thoughtful in his questions. I also love how he shows he has been attuning by summarizing what I say and presenting it back to me so it is even clearer. He is strong in strategic thinking and when I feel like I am all over the place he provides a meaningful direction. I have learned how to be a better listener from him and to be present and focused on the person in front of me and not on what I am thinking.
